Day 2 of my 6-Week cleanse
Lunch - Pineapple Curry from the vegan restaurant! I told the waitress to hold the black rice medley and give me more lettuce. -- Worked out GREAT! I put the entire salad right in the curry (and brought the spring roll home for B).
Dinner - Turkey and Cabbage stir fry.
1 lb lean turkey
Soy Sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Sesame Sauce
Vegetable/canola oil + little butter
2 Shallots
1 head green cabbage (shredded)
Sesame seeds
2 teaspoons of ginger paste
Its almost gone... and B had 2 large helpings!

6 Week Cleanse
But I started off by fasting for 6 weeks with "no grains of any kind." In the last couple months, I've slowly packed in a few pounds, which I'd like to get off.
According to very reliable sources, most grains are heavy and lethargic, and depresses your senses (especially your mind) so, being that I'm in between jobs, I don't need more depressants in my life!
Day 1:
AM breakfast - 1 egg w/ cheese.
PM lunch- Indian food. Here was my awesome tip to stay away from the rice/naan. I got chicken tikka (not to be confused with tikka masala) It was pretty much just clay oven roasted chicken. NO SAUCE. The dry (but remarkably tender chicken breast) had NO CURRY sauce, so I had no need to "sop up the sauce" with any of the naan or rice that B was eating.
PM snack - Starbucks drip with half and half.
PM dinner - Pork chops with roasted parsnips.

"Shamrock Smoothie"
AND NO REFINED SUGAR!!!
Lovely Lilac
I love how freakin talented Michelle is. She made this hat from a charity shop sweater that she found for 2 bucks. She says the amount to make this hat was like, a sleeve.
So freakin smart. And Green. And we didn't pay people in china to make it.
God bless Michelle, and the USA, and my awesome new Lilac hat! (if only it would be a TAD bit more cold in NY (i know, I can't be pleased!))
I Love NY
I can't remember the last time I bought munckins! Talk about feeling like a kid again.
I didn't eat any, but did bring them to a post natal mom. Angel or devil? I'm not sure.
The coffee, was mine :)
